Hi, I'm George 👋

I'm a Back Pain Coach and Physiotherapist originally from the UK, now living in Australia.

During my career I have worked in Specialist Back Pain Programs in the UK and Australia, and have special experience in Pain Education and Persistent Pain (pain over 3 months).

It's my MISSION to guide people through CrossFit injuries back to full fitness, and more importantly full CONFIDENCE.

It's my job to teach you the skills to not only recover from pain but to PREVENT future injuries from occurring.

FAQs

How does the Online 8-Week Program work?

You'll start with a complete assessment via zoom to get to the root of your pain AND set personalised milestones for the next 8 weeks. Then, you'll be sent your tailored exercise rehab program via the all in one Fitr App. Here you'll be guided through the exercises with videos and tutorials. You also be given a direct messaging link for 24/7 support with me via Telegram (unheard of for physios!). We'll then book in 3 Milestone Mentoring sessions over the 8 weeks to further tailor your program AND start the Prevention Protocol. At 8 weeks you'll graduate into the RehabRX community, where you can choose to continue making progress with the Members Monthly Program.

Do I need to be really good at CrossFit to do this?

Absolutely not. You can be any skill or experience level. I have helped people looking to compete at Games Level, all the way down to first week or two of classes. CrossFit's gift is that everything is scalable to you and your level, and that's exactly what I do. All you need is a positive attitude and desire to make a change, and we'll to the rest.

Don't I need to see you in person for you to accurately diagnose my pain?

Covid forced us healthcare pros online, and do you know what we found...? It's really effective. We get 80% of our working diagnosis from what you tell us, and the other 20% from watching you move - both can be done via zoom. Not only is is effective, it's also far more convenient for you. You can receive accurate advice and a personalised program all from the comfort of your own home.

My pain comes and goes, and I can still workout - is this for me?

Absolutely. Pain can flare up and settle quickly with rest/ time off, meaning you can get back to training. But, you have to ask the question: why is the pain there in the first place? Back pain is complex, and if left untreated can grumble on in the background for months and years. My strategy is to get down to the root of the pain and fix the issues that are causing it. The best healthcare focuses on improving pain but also PREVENTING it from coming back by learning the necessary skills. I help people with both.
